Housing Bubble? Further proof its not 2008 all over again!

We had a disastrous Real Estate Market in 2008 and that bubble was partially caused by unhealthy levels of mortgage debt. Homeowners were using their homes as ATM’s by refinancing and swapping their equity for Cash. Many to invest in other property with loans and low down payments. It was crazy to think that prices would keep going up and up. New purchasers were putting down the minimum down payment, resulting in them having little if any equity in their homes.
Now the banks have tightened their lending policies, and people are more savvy. We hope.

Today, times are different.  We do not think that will happen again.   Unlike 2008, over 50% of homeowners have 50% equity in their homes.  They will not be walking away if the market softens.         Click here  to read the whole article.
